Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings will issue Bob Dylan – Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981 on Friday, November 3.

The CD/DVD release features 100 previously unreleased live and studio recordings, including 14 never-before-heard songs. The eight-disc audio component of Bob Dylan – Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981 captures a number of live recordings from 1979, 1980 and 1981. That era saw Dylan release the spiritually-inspired albums Slow Train Coming, Saved and Shot of Love.

Two of the discs are devoted to rare and unreleased outtakes and rehearsals. Only the track “Ye Shall Be Changed” (issued in 1991 on The Bootleg Series, Vol. 1-3) has been previously released. The deluxe box set comes with hardcover book featuring an introduction Ben Rollins and liner notes written by Amanda Petrusich, Rob Bowman and Penn Jillette.

A DVD Trouble No More: A Musical Film is also included exclusively with the deluxe box set. The feature film combines “unreleased footage from Dylan’s 1980 tours with new material written by Luc Sante and performed by Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon.” There’s also a limited edition two-disc bonus live recording from San Diego in 1979 for those purchasing the deluxe version.

Additionally, two-CD and four-LP editions made up of the first two discs from the Trouble No More deluxe box will also be issued.
